MARK ARBON

I design and build traditional as well as unusual structures from extensions to sun rooms; garden retreats to greenhouses. Beautiful, natural and renewable materials are the starting point for all my building projects. Wood from our lovely Shropshire hills, local stone, wool from British sheep as well as hemp grown in Yorkshire. 

I combine these with reclaimed items like doors and windows as well as reused bricks, blocks and slabs. Locally manufactured elements including lime putty and metal roofing is also available and is of a very high quality.

I can take you through the whole process from initial ideas to full 3D drawings and a planning application.

My buildings require very low energy inputs. High levels of insulation and careful detailing mean that they work as they should.
